The 10th Annual Ruck N’ St. Germain is returning on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Cira’s Red, White & Brew in St. Germain, Wisconsin. This community event, therefore, raises funds for the Northwoods Veterans Homestead and local veteran service organizations. Every year, veterans, families, and supporters come together to participate in a 4.2-mile ruck march. Additionally, after the march, participants can enjoy a full day of live entertainment, food, and fundraising activities.
First, check-in will start promptly at 9:00 a.m. at Cira’s Red, White & Brew. Once checked in, participants will then board the shuttle provided by Allison’s Bar Car, which will take them to the starting point at Veteran’s Park. At 10:00 a.m., the ruck will step off, following a 4.2-mile route that returns to Cira’s. Along the way, there will be two rest stops for participants: the first stop will be at Flights of Freedom Brewery, and the second will be at the Mobile Vet Center.
Once the ruck is complete, the celebration will continue at Cira’s Red, White & Brew. Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy live music, a classic cookout, basket raffles, and 50/50 raffles. Furthermore, this post-ruck celebration offers a perfect opportunity for friends, neighbors, and veterans to come together in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere while contributing to a vital cause.
All proceeds from the 10th Annual Ruck N’ St. Germain will directly benefit the Northwoods Veterans Homestead and local veteran organizations. These funds, in turn, will support housing, wellness initiatives, and reintegration programs for veterans across Northern Wisconsin.
