Join us on Friday, July 19 at 12 PM for BBQ for the Brave, a heartwarming, family-friendly afternoon filled with delicious food, live music, and community spirit—all in support of Northwoods Veterans Homestead, a Rhinelander-based nonprofit building tiny homes for homeless veterans in northern Wisconsin. The event will be held at The Butcher & The Baker, located at N5334 N River Road in Brantwood.
We’ll be serving up a feast of mouthwatering brisket and pulled pork BBQ, plus hot dogs for the kids, and a spread of classic sides just like grandma used to make. You won’t leave hungry. While you eat and relax, enjoy a lineup of live music that’ll keep the good vibes rolling all afternoon.
There’s fun for everyone at the BBQ for the Brave, including basket raffles and a 50/50 drawing, plenty of cold drinks for the grown-ups, and a bags tournament for those with a competitive streak. Little ones will love burning off energy in the bouncy house, giving parents a chance to kick back and take in the beautiful countryside setting.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door, with all proceeds going directly to support our mission of providing safe, stable housing for veterans who need it most. It’s more than just a BBQ—it’s a chance to give back while having a great time with family and friends.
So come hungry, leave full, and help us do something truly meaningful for those who’ve given so much for our country. We can’t wait to see you there.
