NVH in the Rhinelander Parade
The Northwoods Veterans Homestead proudly exhibited in the 2024 Rhinelander 4th of July Parade with a vibrant float showcasing flags from all US military branches. Our volunteers had a fantastic time meeting parade attendees and celebrating the dedication and sacrifices of our veterans. The community’s enthusiastic applause and support made it a memorable event for everyone involved.
NVH Visits the Holy Family Catholic Church
Gordy Edington recently addressed a group from Holy Family Catholic Church in Minocqua, WI, sharing the inspiring mission of Northwoods Veterans Homestead. His presentation highlighted the dedication and support we provide to our veterans, resonating deeply with the attendees and fostering a strong sense of community and gratitude.

Join us for a 2nd Annual Bingo Bash at the church on August 8th! Doors open at noon, and bingo runs from 1 to 3 PM. All proceeds benefit NVH. Sponsored by OLQU Secular Franciscans.
